The objectives of education is to turn the potentialities of the students into actualities

To make the students academically proficient, morally upright, socially responsible, sensitive to culture and heritage and inspire to conserve and promote a better environment
At Little Flower School we envision our students to be future oriented

1. Keep yourself and your surroundings neat and clean. It reflects your inner self.

2. Compete with yourself, to achieve better, to develop your potential to the maximum. Remember, the sky is not the limit; It is you, limit yourself.

3. Pray to the Almighty to give you the strength to achieve the things you can, and the serenity to accept what you cannot, and above all the wisdom to know the difference.

4. Struggle against all odds is to realize; that greatness is not in achieving the easy and the ordinary: But it is achieving the seemingly impossible there lies greatness; history is made by the courageous who dare to question and to challenge and not follow the easy track.

5. Never disown, hurt or oppress the poor, nor bend your knees before insolent might.

6. Learn to give generously till it hurts; but let not your left hand know what your right hand gives. However much you may give, it is never more than you have received; for, what you have received is infinite: life and love.

7. Never waste your time; there is never enough time to learn, to love, to give, to achieve, to wonder, to leave behind a legacy, A minute lost is lost forever, it can never be retrieved. If health and wealth are lost, they may be regained, but not time. One life is not enough to unravel the mysteries of life and of this universe. "One crowded hour of life is worth an age without a name."

8. Appreciate the beauty and goodness in the universe, within you and others.

9. Good deed sets in motion a chain of other good deeds, just as a warm smile reflect another warm smile.

10. Every human being is basically good, if anyone is not good to you, it is not your fault; nor is it his fault; he may be humiliated by others. May be your goodness to him will bring back his own goodness. "An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth" never gave peace to anybody; when one strikes you on one cheek, show him the other, and it will bring reconciliation, conversion, repentance. Unfortunately, the world today has forgotten this art and hence unhappiness, misery, wars, killings, suffering and poverty exist in today's world".

11. Never curse darkness, instead light a candle instead; "How far does a little lamp throw its light in a dark night, so does a good deed in this confused world".

12. The great universe is the creation of the Almighty; and nothing happens in this universe without His knowledge, however unfathomable His ways may be. Hence, we must work in tune with the Almighty and with nature. Do not pollute nature; keep the ecological balance.

13. Nothing is absolute or final in life; change is an unavoidable law of growth; that we never possess the absolute truth; we have only partial truths, be willing to give up partial truth and discover the ultimate truth. The Almighty is the only absolute truth.

14. Develop harmony of body and soul, nature and creativity, reason and desire.

15. Never be afraid to move against the current trends. It is better to be struggling with a hard task than being complacent over a simple success; a defeat in the face of a humanly insurmountable task is better than the satisfaction of a small achievement; the sacrifice of one's own life for a worthy cause is better than a long life that no one remembers.

16. Each individual is unique and each must find his own unique path in life to success and fulfillment; there is no challenge and therefore, no reward in the beaten path; each one blossoms in his own uniqueness. Therefore, you decide your destiny and you make it. Others, even teachers and parents, are guides. Dare to take the path less travelled, that will make all the difference in your life.

17. Always on the search to discover, to explore; possibilities and opportunities are unlimited.

18. It is possible to agree to disagree: that it is alright to be different; Do not feel guilty to assert yourself (not aggressively): it is healthy to look for one's own happiness (though not at the expense of another).

19. Play well the game of life in the Pierre de Coubertin way: "The important thing ... is not to win but to take part, just as the important thing in life is not triumph but struggle. The essential thing is not to have conquered but to have fought well."

20. Be prepared to pay the price of greatness and achievement; Jesus Christ was crucified and killed before he rose from the dead to eternal life; Socrates had to drink the cup of hemlock and die before the world acknowledged his greatness; Siddhartha had to renounce his palace, his kingdom and his family and wander for years before he became Buddha; the Mahatma faced bullets before he became the 'Father of the Nation'.

The Handbook is meant to serve as an effective link between Teachers and Parents. Parents are requested to go through the Handbook every day, so as to keep themselves informed about the quality and quantity of work done by their children. Notes between Parents and Teachers about the students' progress can conveniently be exchanged through the pages provided for the purpose in the Handbook. All entries made by the Parents in the Handbook must pertain only to the students' conduct and work. No criticism of the teaching methods or the conditions at home should be entered in the pages of this Handbook. Such criticism, if any, may be conveyed in a separate letter addressed to the Principal/ Teacher. All applications for leave must be made through the pages of this Handbook. Students are expected to bring the Handbook everyday to school. Care should be taken to keep it neat and tidy.

Father, we thank you for the night,
And for the pleasant morning light,
For rest and food and loving care And for all that makes the world so fair,
Help us to do the things we should, To be to others kind and good.
In all we do, in all we say, To grow more loving every day.

Rise India! Thy Millions lead, with banners high unfurled, From Comorian point to Everest peak, Stand free before the world! The SAFFRON hues upon the FLAG, Are glorious tints of dawn, The WHITE is light of morning air, The GREEN is strength of life new born. The SAFFRON hues are skies aglow. With beams of light heav'n bred: They are our India's quest for GOD 'Pon which her soul has longing sped. Guide our free march, thou India's FLAG for full-bloomed in thy dawn, And neath thy SAFFRON canopy, The Sun-Wheel on thy WHITE is born. Now march, free India, build thy WHEEL, With spokes of love and peace Frame it with bonds of unity, Its forward march let never cease.
